Malaysian stabbed in South Korea to break up fight, body due home tomorrow

The remains of Ahmad Shah, a 26-year-old Malaysian national who died in South Korea, are expected to arrive in Malaysia on the afternoon of the next day. Ahmad Shah was fatally stabbed while attempting to mediate a group fight.

His sister, Ain Sephia Ahmad Ros, confirmed the arrangements for bringing his body home. The flight carrying his remains is scheduled to depart from Incheon International Airport at 11 a.m. and is anticipated to land in Malaysia around 5 p.m. the following day.

Upon arrival, the body will be transported directly to Masjid Bandar Tasik Puteri in Rawang for funeral prayers. Burial will take place at the Tasik Puteri Muslim Cemetery after the evening Isha prayer.

Media reports indicated that Ahmad Shah's family was shocked and disbelieving upon hearing the news of his death. He had been working in the manufacturing sector in South Korea since 2019. He reportedly sustained fatal injuries to his abdomen from a knife attack while trying to intervene in a group altercation near his residence, accompanied by his wife.
