Man Attacked, Robbed Near Vilnius Apartment Building

A man was assaulted and robbed in Vilnius early on August 23rd. According to police reports, unknown individuals attacked the man near the entrance of an apartment building on Tvankstos Street around 5 a.m. During the assault, the perpetrators physically beat the victim and stole a gold chain from his neck. They also took a handbag that contained 570 euros in cash, a bank payment card, and personal identification documents.

The total value of the stolen items is estimated at 700 euros. The victim received medical attention at a hospital following the incident and is currently being treated on an outpatient basis.
