Man Fatally Shot Inside Vehicle in Tecámac; Suspects Flee on Motorcycle

A man was shot and killed inside his car in the Los Héroes Tecámac housing development, Section Jardines, in Mexico State. The incident occurred on Viña street, where the victim was found inside a white Chevrolet Chevy Monza.

Neighbors reported hearing numerous gunshots. Upon arrival, municipal Civil Guard and State Security Secretariat officers discovered the victim deceased, with apparent gunshot wounds. According to witness accounts, the perpetrators were riding a motorcycle. They approached the victim's vehicle and fired multiple shots at the driver, who died at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not been disclosed. Forensic experts from the State of Mexico's Attorney General's Office (FGJEM) arrived at the scene to commence their investigation into the homicide. They ordered the removal of the body and collected approximately six shell casings found near the attack site.

The FGJEM has an open inquiry into the case and is requesting anyone with information about the events to contact the ministerial authorities.
