Manas Street in Almaty to Close for Road Repairs July 31-August 4

Almaty is implementing temporary traffic closures on Manas Street between Abay Avenue and Timiryazev Street for road surface repairs. The closure is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. on July 31 to 8:00 a.m. on August 4. Temporary signage, barriers, and contractor contact information will be set up at the site. Authorities are also considering making Manas Street one-way.

This closure is part of ongoing infrastructure work in the city. Several other streets are experiencing traffic restrictions. Zhandosov Street is closed from Dauletkerey Street to the city boundary until August 1. Second Goncharnaya Street has restricted traffic due to heating season preparations. Snegin Street is partially closed between Mendikulov Boulevard and Dostyk Avenue for pipeline replacement. Additionally, Bekeshev Street will have traffic temporarily restricted from Abdildin Street to Belzhailau Street until August 30 for sewer collector construction.
