Marvel Drops 'Avengers: Doomsday' Trailer Featuring Doctor Doom and X-Men

Marvel Studios unveiled a new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated 'Avengers: Doomsday' during a showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California. The studio's president, Kevin Feige, introduced the two-minute special look on stage alongside stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Hayley Atwell.

The trailer opens with a dramatic scene in a ruined cityscape, where Pedro Pascal's Reed Richards confronts Doctor Doom. "Victor. Did you do this?" Richards asks, establishing a personal connection between the characters. The footage also includes Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm reflecting on Doom's past before his villainous turn. Downey's Doctor Doom delivers a menacing line: "All of you have lived stolen lives, but now you must give them back," speaking with a Latverian accent.

Fans also caught glimpses of classic X-Men characters, including Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and James Marsden as Cyclops. The trailer also featured brief appearances by Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Letitia Wright as Shuri. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, 'Avengers: Doomsday' promises to bring together characters from multiple universes to face an existential threat.

The film is slated for theatrical release on December 18, 2026.
