Ocean Affairs Council Minister Pan Wen-chung further elaborated on the project, detailing the NT$400 million investment in the new "10th (Matsu) Coast Guard Team Station." This six-story building with an underground level is designed as a "live-work integrated" facility, reflecting闽东 (Min-Dong) architectural style. Upon its projected completion in 2027 (116th year of the Republic of China calendar), it will consolidate operational and logistical spaces, enhancing resource deployment efficiency. More importantly, it aims to foster deeper connections with local residents through public areas, positioning the Coast Guard as a supportive "good neighbor" while strengthening national security resilience and enabling "dignified law enforcement."
