Mexico's Welfare Card Distribution Set for August 24-30

Beneficiaries of Mexico's "Pensión Mujeres Bienestar" and "Pensión para el Bienestar de las Personas Adultas Mayores" programs are set to receive their new "Tarjeta Bienestar" (Welfare Card) between August 24 and August 30. This distribution follows the registration period held in June for these social programs.

The Secretariat of Bienestar has detailed a specific process for card collection. Each recipient will be assigned a unique day, time, and pickup location, which will be communicated directly via SMS message. This targeted approach aims to streamline the distribution process and manage the large number of beneficiaries.

To collect their cards, individuals must present an official identification document in its original form, along with a copy. They also need to bring the registration slip or talon received during their pension application. This documentation ensures that the card is issued to the rightful beneficiary.

The "Pensión Mujeres Bienestar" currently serves over 3 million women aged 60 to 64. The "Pensión para el Bienestar de las Personas Adultas Mayores" supports more than 13.8 million individuals aged 65 and older.
