Minister Alswaha begins US visit to advance Saudi leadership in AI and advanced technologies

Saudi Communications and Information Technology Minister Abdullah Alswaha has begun an official visit to the United States to promote the kingdom’s ambitions in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.

Alswaha will take part in a G20 ministerial meeting focused on the digital economy and innovation. He is also scheduled to attend the Frontier Leaders Forum, which brings together entrepreneurship and venture-capital leaders from Saudi Arabia and the United States.

The minister will hold talks with White House officials and senior executives from leading technology and investment companies. The discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in AI and other advanced technologies, attracting high-value investment and developing digital infrastructure.

Saudi Arabia is presenting the visit as part of efforts to reinforce its position as a global hub for technology, innovation and artificial intelligence.
