Ministry to Appeal Prison Sentence for Hasbi Dede

A recent court ruling in Giresun's Görele district has resulted in a prison sentence for the local mayor, Hasbi Dede, on charges of sexual harassment of a child. The Görele 1st High Criminal Court sentenced Dede to 1 year and 6 months in prison for exploiting electronic communication tools to commit the offense, with the court opting not to postpone the announcement of the verdict.
