Minor Injuries in Autobahn 20 Collision Near Neubrandenburg

A traffic accident occurred on the Autobahn 20 in Germany, near the Neubrandenburg-Ost exit, as two vehicles collided while traveling towards Berlin. The incident resulted in one driver sustaining minor injuries.

According to police reports, a 51-year-old man was driving in the right lane when a 38-year-old woman in the left lane approached from behind. The man then steered left, leading to the collision between the two cars. Investigators are considering the possibility that another vehicle attempting to merge onto the highway without paying attention to the oncoming traffic may have prompted the lane change.

The 38-year-old female driver was transported to the Neubrandenburg Clinic with minor injuries. The 51-year-old man and his two female passengers were unharmed. Both vehicles were rendered inoperable and subsequently towed. The estimated cost of the damage resulting from the accident is around 17,000 euros.
