Minors selling slingshots on Bishkek's main square have goods confiscated

Municipal inspectors in Bishkek have taken action against the unauthorized sale of slingshots by minors on the central Ala-Too Square. During a raid, officers identified several teenagers engaged in selling the items. The minors were subsequently handed over to the juvenile inspection department for further proceedings and to ensure appropriate measures are taken.

The operation also targeted other vendors operating without proper authorization. Inspectors encountered individuals selling toys who refused to present identification documents. In accordance with legal requirements, their merchandise was temporarily confiscated. The municipality stated that these actions are part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal trade in public spaces across the city.
