Mobile Health Services Crucial for Rural Communities, Says Sabah Chief Minister

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has highlighted the critical need to bring mobile health services closer to rural communities, particularly for those facing challenges in accessing regular health check-ups. He stated that these outreach programs are vital for enabling the community to undergo early examinations, receive advice from health professionals, and enhance awareness regarding the importance of maintaining personal and family health.

He stressed that regular health screenings are essential, as diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes can develop without clear early signs. Therefore, medical outreach campaigns like the one held provide a valuable opportunity for early detection and intervention.

Hajiji Noor commended the staff of Tuaran Hospital for their commitment to providing excellent service. He also acknowledged the cooperation of the Hospital Tuaran Board of Visitors, hospital staff, local leaders, and residents. He expressed hope that such programs would continue periodically and be expanded to other villages in the Tuaran district.
