Motorcyclist killed in accident on LKSA highway

A motorcyclist has died following a road accident near the Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway (LKSA) in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The incident occurred near Uptown Seksyen 24, drawing a crowd and police presence, according to social media posts.

Eyewitness accounts suggest the victim, identified as Sharul Baharin Mohammad, was pronounced dead at the scene. One witness, Nor Azliana Mohd. Nawawi, described how the motorcyclist was attempting to overtake a lorry when the accident happened. "The lorry had already moved past. I checked his pulse, and there was none, but he was still alive. By the time the ambulance arrived, he had passed away," she stated.

The accident took place near the Aeon Big hypermarket in Section 23. Another social media user, Noradilah Sukri, commented on seeing police cars near the location after evening prayers, confirming the incident.

This fatality adds to a concerning trend of fatal motorcycle accidents in the region. Utusan Malaysia reported that three fatal accidents involving motorcyclists occurred within a 12-hour period recently. Two of these incidents happened near Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari in Puncak Alam, while another occurred on Jalan Meru Tambahan.
