Nantou 'She Paints, She Speaks' Art Exhibition: 61 Female Artists Showcase Creative Energy

The Nantou County Cultural Affairs Bureau proudly presents "She Paints, She Speaks," a vibrant exhibition celebrating the immense creative power of women artists. This showcase, held at the Nantou County Artists' Information Center, brings together 61 talented individuals, each contributing a unique piece that speaks volumes about their life experiences and artistic vision.

Featuring a rich tapestry of mediums, from traditional ink wash and gouache to contemporary fiber arts and indigo dyeing, the exhibition offers a profound look into the diverse expressions of female artistry. These artists, all either born in or long-time residents of Nantou and possessing backgrounds in fine arts, have garnered recognition through various national awards, underscoring the high caliber of talent on display.

We are particularly excited about the integration of a QR code audio guide system. This innovative feature allows visitors to scan and listen to detailed explanations of the artworks, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the pieces. It's a modern touch to a timeless celebration of art and the women who create it.

One of our featured artists, Lin Ji-wei, a retiree who has dedicated over a decade to her craft after a fulfilling career, shared her joy in participating. Her journey exemplifies the enriching power of pursuing artistic passion post-retirement, adding another layer of inspiration to this significant exhibition.
