Narlıdere Municipality continues asphalt renewal works

Narlıdere Municipality is actively pursuing its road improvement agenda, continuing its asphalt renewal campaign throughout the district. This initiative is a key component of the municipality's broader plan for 2026, aimed at enhancing the quality of local infrastructure.

Recent efforts focused on Narlı Neighborhood, where municipal teams successfully completed asphalt paving on İsmet İnönü Caddesi and Metin Oktay Sokak. These streets are significant thoroughfares, with İsmet İnönü Caddesi providing access to the historic Yukarıköy area and İlhan Onat Primary School, making its smooth surface crucial for daily traffic.

Narlıdere Mayor Erman Uzun personally inspected the ongoing asphalt work. He met with both the construction crews and local residents, underscoring the municipality's responsiveness to community needs. "Our neighbors deserve the best," Uzun stated, highlighting that requests from residents were a driving force behind accelerating the paving on İsmet İnönü Caddesi. He added that Metin Oktay Sokak, another heavily used street, has also been significantly improved.

The mayor reiterated the municipality's dedication to addressing all resident requests and working diligently to find solutions. "We will continue our asphalt paving work step by step in all neighborhoods where there is a need, within the capabilities of our municipality," Uzun promised. He stressed the importance of utilizing municipal resources efficiently to deliver services across the district.

These recent paving projects follow similar work completed earlier on Güngören Caddesi, Çağrı Sokak, and Gülmüş Sokak within the Çamtepe Neighborhood. The municipality's systematic approach ensures that essential road infrastructure is continuously upgraded, providing safer and more comfortable travel for Narlıdere's residents.
