National Domino Tournament Enters Tight Quarterfinal Stage

The National Domino Sports Tournament (Kejurnas ORADO) 2026, held at JSI Resort Megamendung, is heating up as it enters the critical quarterfinals stage. This prestigious event has brought together 205 athletes representing 27 provinces across Indonesia, showcasing a high level of skill and competitive spirit in both senior and junior divisions.

The tournament commenced with a parade of contingents, symbolizing the unity and growing excitement among participants. The atmosphere has been one of strong camaraderie, with the competitive stakes rising as the competition progresses towards its crucial knockout phases. This year's Kejurnas ORADO is particularly significant, not only as a platform for elite competition but also as a cornerstone for the development of dominoes as a formally recognized sport within the nation.

PB ORADO, the national governing body, is diligently working to build a structured and professional foundation for domino sports in Indonesia. Their efforts are evident in the widespread organization, with domino associations established in 38 provinces and 357 branch management bodies (Pengcab) actively supporting the sport. Furthermore, 25 Provincial Management Bodies (Pengprov) are actively engaged in various programs, including provincial championships (Kejurprov), which are vital for nurturing talent at the grassroots level.

The qualification rounds have narrowed the field to the top eight senior teams: Sumatera Selatan A, Jawa Barat A, Jambi B, Lampung A, Lampung B, Banten B, Bangka Belitung B, and Jawa Timur C. These teams will now battle it out in a knockout format, where consistency and strategic prowess will be paramount. This Kejurnas marks a pivotal moment for Indonesian dominoes, solidifying its position as a growing national sport.
