National Police Food Security Program: Polda Riau Wins Cluster 3

Polda Riau has secured the top position as the overall winner for Cluster 3 in the National Police Food Security Program for 2026. The Riau regional police achieved this distinction by earning the highest scores across six evaluation categories, demonstrating their commitment to bolstering food security initiatives.

The award ceremony, held at The Tribrata in Jakarta, saw the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, present the award to the Riau Police Chief, Inspector General Herry Heryawan. The Head of Public Relations for Polda Riau, Senior Commissioner Akmadi, stated that the overall win is a testament to the collective efforts of the entire Riau police force in implementing the food security program.

Polda Riau achieved second place in the Corn Land Addition and Production category and also secured second place in the Bulog Corn Absorption category. Furthermore, they were recognized with first place in the Polda Media Management category. Individual police precincts also received accolades, with Indragiri Hulu Polres earning third place in Polres Media Management and Kuantan Singingi Polres taking first place in Polres Innovation.

Nationally, the police food security program is divided into three clusters. Polda Jawa Timur was the overall winner for Cluster 1, and Polda Kalimantan Barat for Cluster 2. Akmadi emphasized that the award serves as motivation to ensure the sustainability of the food security program, aiming to provide tangible benefits to the community beyond just recognition. The program's success is attributed to the collaboration between Polda Riau, Polres, local governments, Bulog, and farmer groups.
