The apprehension of an 83-year-old, Pa John Ofiel, in Abia State, and a 78-year-old, Ogunjobi Samuel, in Ekiti State, alongside younger offenders, underscores the pervasive nature of the drug trade and the NDLEA's determination to pursue suspects regardless of age. These arrests, detailed by NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi, reveal a disturbing trend where individuals from diverse demographic backgrounds are implicated in drug distribution.
