NDPHC, NCDMB Partner on 10MW Power Supply to Odukpani Park

A significant stride has been made in bolstering Nigeria's industrial capacity with the partnership between the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC) and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). Their collaboration is set to deliver a dedicated 10-megawatt (MW) electricity supply to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Park in Odukpani, Cross River State, addressing a critical constraint for manufacturing and processing activities.

This initiative, which began with an Expression of Interest in 2025, has now progressed to a crucial engagement phase. NDPHC will provide the power from its Calabar Generation Company Limited, ensuring a stable, reliable, and sustainable energy source for the park's industrial tenants. This dedicated supply is vital for the Odukpani park, which is envisioned as a strategic hub designed to support downstream oil and gas operators.

The project's significance extends beyond mere power provision. By facilitating the production, processing, and distribution of refined petroleum products and gas-based materials, it aims to stimulate local manufacturing of essential equipment and components within the sector. This move by NDPHC and NCDMB is a testament to their commitment to enhancing Nigeria's industrial landscape and unlocking the full potential of its oil and gas resources.
