Negeri Sembilan Assemblyman Dismisses Claims of Pakatan Harapan Joining State Executive Council

Claims that Pakatan Harapan (PH) representatives will be appointed to the Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council are unfounded and premature, according to Johol assemblyman Datuk Saiful Yazan Sulaiman. He asserted that this matter has not been discussed among Barisan Nasional (BN) representatives. "If this were to happen, naturally, we, as candidates from BN Negeri Sembilan who just won the recent state election, would be consulted," Saiful Yazan stated in a release today. "However, this matter has not been discussed at all up to this day." He expressed hope that all parties would allow the Menteri Besar, Datuk Ismail Lasim, the space to carry out his responsibilities and the trust placed upon him. Saiful Yazan emphasized that the people of Negeri Sembilan have made their choice in the recent state election. He believes all parties should now concentrate on efforts to develop the state, rather than continuously engaging in politics. "The people of Negeri Sembilan have made their choice; now we must continue to work and not waste time playing politics all the time," he added. Previously, media reports suggested that several PH assemblymen might join the Negeri Sembilan state government administration under Ismail's leadership.
