Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar dismisses dissolution rumors after routine meeting

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun met with the state's Yang di-Pertuan Besar, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, at the Istana Hinggap in Seremban. This meeting is a customary practice held before the weekly Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council meeting, typically convened on Wednesdays.

However, the timing of this particular meeting drew attention due to heightened political speculation. The recent dissolution of the Johor State Legislative Assembly on Monday fueled rumors about a potential similar move in Negeri Sembilan. Aminuddin arrived at the palace around 9:05 AM and departed at approximately 10:48 AM. Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad was also observed present at the palace.

When approached by reporters after the meeting, Aminuddin downplayed the significance of the discussions. "It's just usual... usual Wednesday matters," he stated briefly, aiming to quell the swirling rumors about political maneuvering.
