New arrest warrant issued for 'Estrellita N' in family violence case

Authorities in Tamaulipas have issued a new arrest warrant for Estrellita "N" in connection with alleged Qualified Family Violence. The Tamaulipas Attorney General's Office stated that the investigation is based on a complaint detailing repeated acts of abuse against a minor.

The action stems from the investigation file under the charge of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for the Investigation of Crimes against Children and Women (FENNAM), following the complaint filed for the acts committed repeatedly against a minor.

According to the investigation, the alleged incidents took place between October 2024 and July 2026. The abuse reportedly occurred within a private educational institution in Ciudad Victoria, where Estrellita "N" allegedly exploited her position of authority and custody over the adolescent.

Estrellita "N" is currently being held in pretrial detention at the Altamira Penitentiary Center. She faces charges of feminicide related to the death of adolescent Dafne Zapata Quintos. The new arrest warrant was served to her while she was already in custody.

According to the investigations developed by the social representation, the events occurred between October 2024 and July 2026, inside a private educational institution located in the Unidad Nacional neighborhood, in this municipality, where the accused, taking advantage of her position of hierarchy, authority, and custody, exercised repeated acts of physical and psychological violence against the minor.

She has been placed at the disposal of the relevant judicial authority, which will determine her legal status in the coming hours.

Estrellita "N" is currently in preventive detention at the Altamira Penitentiary and Social Reinsertion Center (Cedes) for the crime of Feminicide, against the adolescent Dafne Zapata Quintos.
