New Association Formed Within Poland's Ruling PiS Party

A new association named "Po Pierwsze Polska" (First of All Poland) has been established within Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party. Jacek Sasin, a prominent PiS politician, announced the formation of the group on the X platform, stating its mission is to strengthen party unity and actively support Professor Przemysław Czarnek's campaign.

Sasin emphasized that the association's goal is to develop programmatic solutions for a secure and prosperous future under PiS governance. He assured that "Po Pierwsze Polska" will operate strictly within the party's framework and will not establish separate regional structures. "As members of the association, we declare full loyalty to Law and Justice and our leader, President Jarosław Kaczyński," Sasin stated.

Our mission is to strengthen the unity of our party, actively support Professor Przemysław Czarnek's campaign, and develop programmatic solutions that will open the way for Poland and Poles to a secure and prosperous future under the rule of Law and Justice.

The association's leadership includes Elżbieta Witek and Patryk Jaki as vice-presidents, Michał Moskal as secretary, and Marek Moskal as treasurer. Over 100 members have already joined, signaling significant internal engagement.

This development occurs amidst internal party dynamics, as former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also recently formed his own association, "Rozwój Plus" (Development Plus). This move has reportedly caused tension within PiS, with some leaders viewing it as an attempt by Morawiecki to build an independent power base, possibly due to dissatisfaction with Czarnek's candidacy for prime minister. Reports suggest members of Morawiecki's association might not be included on PiS electoral lists.
