Bishkek is taking a significant step towards modernizing its public transportation with the introduction of new electric buses from China's Geely Group. As reported by 24.kg, the city's DEPO-2 facility hosted the presentation of these advanced vehicles, marking a potential shift towards greener urban mobility. The compact design, measuring just over 8.5 meters, is particularly suited for navigating Bishkek's streets, promising improved efficiency on routes with heavy traffic. Equipped with a robust electric motor and a substantial battery capacity, these buses boast a range of at least 250 kilometers, addressing potential concerns about operational reach.
