New single 'I Will Stay Young' connects 80s spirit with today's youth and revives a sense of freedom for older generations

The project "Pozdrav novom valu" (Greetings to the New Wave) has launched its first single, "Ostat ću mlad" (I Will Stay Young). This contemporary rendition of the cult song by the band Animatori serves as a prelude to an upcoming studio project dedicated to one of the most significant eras of the domestic music scene.

The new version of "Ostat ću mlad," originally written by Krešimir Blažević, blends the recognizable spirit of the 1980s with modern production. It retains the emotion and energy of the original while imbuing it with new meaning for today's audience. The project aims not just to be a retrospective but a creative dialogue across generations.

The single's value is enhanced by an impressive circle of collaborators from different artistic fields and generations. The project includes Dušan and Sara Bućan, Igor Kovač, Goran Grgić, Nikša Kušelj, and Kristijan Potočki, alongside Domagoj Vorberger, Krešimir Mišak, Goran Penava Pišta, Marin Pelajić, Neven Kepeski, Martina Validžić, Nikolina Belan, Borivoj Radaković, Hana Blažević, and Zvonimir Rumboldt. This lineup further reinforces the project's core idea of community and the connection of diverse creative voices. The band for this project consists of Rene Kutičić on drums, Toma Vlčev on bass guitar and vocals, Goran Šeler on guitar and vocals, and Saša Novak on guitar and vocals.
