Nigeria Immigration Service Arrests 12 Over Alleged QNET Fraud Network

Nigeria's Immigration Service (NIS) has apprehended 12 individuals suspected of involvement with the QNET/IGNITE network marketing group. The arrests are part of an ongoing effort to combat cross-border crimes and irregular migration.

The operation, conducted in Lagos and Ogun states, was prompted by intelligence regarding suspected trafficking networks. During the operation, a Burkinabé national, Ouattra Adama, was arrested along with 11 other suspected facilitators, including eight Liberians and three Cameroonians. Two Liberian nationals, reportedly victims of the group's activities, were also rescued.
