Nigeria: NDC Urges Citizens to Obtain PVC for 2027 Elections

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is actively encouraging Nigerians to register for and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections. The party views the ongoing registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a crucial opportunity for citizens to engage actively in the electoral process and shape the nation's future.

According to NDC National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Osa Director, the PVC is the primary tool through which citizens can exercise their democratic rights and influence government decisions via the ballot box. Speaking during the party's PVC registration mobilization event, Director urged all eligible Nigerians, especially the youth and first-time voters, not to miss this chance to register.

Director stressed that meaningful national change is achievable only through active participation in elections.
