Nigerian diaspora group demands 5% of APC campaign slots for 2027

A prominent diaspora group is calling on Nigeria's ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to formally recognize and integrate its overseas members into the party's political machinery.

Prince Emre Margboh, who leads both the Nigerian Community in Turkey and the Tinubu Diaspora Support Group, has specifically requested that at least five percent of the APC's 2027 presidential campaign structure be reserved for credible representatives from the Nigerian diaspora.

This demand highlights the growing desire among Nigerians living abroad to have a more significant and structured role in the country's political landscape and campaign efforts.
