As Nigeria's youth leader, I am immensely proud to see our young athletes making waves on the international stage. Dayo Israel's call for Nigerian youths to embrace sports is not just a suggestion; it's a vital directive for our nation's future. The recent triumphs in Arm Wrestling, Wrestling, Athletics, and Table Tennis are not mere wins; they are powerful testaments to the untapped potential residing within our youth. These achievements, celebrated from Accra to Gaborone and Egypt, serve as beacons of hope and inspiration, demonstrating that with the right opportunities, discipline, and support, Nigerian talent can indeed conquer the world.

Innovations are welcome, but sustained investment in sports development, infrastructure, and athlete welfare is paramount. The dedication of figures like the Director General of the NSC, Hon. Bukola Olopade, and SSA to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Anthony Adeboye Adeyinka, is commendable. Their presence and support at international competitions, particularly for the armwrestling team, exemplify the kind of focused effort needed.
