No More 'Furoda' Hajj Visas, Indonesian Organizers Warn of 'Batman Traps'

These visas, which previously allowed individuals to bypass the official national Hajj quota, are no longer being issued by Saudi Arabia.

Resfiadi, who also leads Sapuhi, emphasized that the Saudi government, under King Salman, has discontinued the 'Furoda' visa program. This means any travel agent offering such visas is operating outside the official system and potentially deceiving pilgrims. The only other visa for Hajj, 'Mujamalah,' is exclusively granted by the Saudi Arabian government through its embassy to select individuals.
