No Pakatan Harapan Exco Appointments in Negeri Sembilan, Says BN Chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi

Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, chairman of Barisan Nasional (BN), has firmly stated that there will be no appointments of Pakatan Harapan (PH) representatives to the executive council in Negeri Sembilan. He emphasized that such a move is out of the question for the new state government administration.

This clarification comes in response to circulating rumors and speculation about PH potentially joining the new government in Negeri Sembilan, which is now led by the new Menteri Besar, Datuk Ismail Lasim. The rumors suggested an effort to include PH representatives in the state administration.

Previously, the Negeri Sembilan State Assemblyman for Lenggeng, Datuk Mohd Asna Amin, was reported to have said that no discussions or negotiations had taken place regarding PH's participation in the state government. Additionally, Badrul Hisham Shaharin, known as Chegubard and the Negeri Sembilan Coordinator for the Malaysian United Party (Parti Wawasan Negara), claimed that external parties were indeed trying to bring PH into the Negeri Sembilan government. However, he noted that this effort did not involve the BN and Perikatan Nasional (PN) assemblymen who won seats in the recent Negeri Sembilan state election.

In the recent state election, BN secured 18 seats, PH won 11, and PN obtained seven seats.
