This bold move comes as the NFF announced it will back a formal complaint against FIFA President Gianni Infantino for his decision to grant the prize to then-U.S. President Donald Trump. NFF President Lisa Klaveness articulated the federation's position, stating that FIFA, under Infantino's leadership, has broken its own rules regarding political neutrality. Klaveness, who holds a position on FIFA's Executive Council, will represent the NFF at the upcoming FIFA congress to convey their concerns directly.
