Oegroseno ready to clarify role in land corruption probe

Former Deputy National Police Chief Komjen (Ret.) Oegroseno has stated his readiness to attend a clarification session with the Corruption Eradication Task Force (Kortas Tipidkor) of the Indonesian National Police regarding a land procurement corruption case.

He confirmed his willingness to appear if re-invited, though he noted that a new date had not yet been set. "I am ready to attend. The Kortas Tipidkor is investigating alleged corruption in land procurement for the Sepolwan facilities in Lembang and Ciputat. Head of Operations for Kortas Tipikor, Kombes Ahmad Yusuf Afandi, confirmed the investigation is ongoing to determine if criminal elements exist. "Currently, it is still an investigation, so according to the Criminal Procedure Code, we determine whether there are criminal acts. Just be patient, we will release it later if there are criminal acts," Afandi stated on Monday (20/7).
