Officer Carries Bleeding Boy 100 Meters to Safety in Taiwan

A moment of swift action by a police officer saved a young boy's life on the streets of Luodong, Taiwan. The 5-year-old suffered a deep laceration to his leg while attending the Luodong Arts Festival with his mother, bleeding profusely.

Witnessing the child's distress and the mother's plea for help, Deputy Police Chief Liu Xue-er of the Gongzheng Police Station did not hesitate. He immediately scooped up the injured boy and sprinted approximately 100 meters to the nearest fire station. The dramatic '100-meter dash' with the child in his arms was captured and has since been released, highlighting the critical seconds gained.
