Oman Pakistan Friendship Association Marks Pakistan Independence Day

The Omani Pakistani Friendship Association (OPFA) organized a distinguished gathering to commemorate Pakistan's Independence Day, celebrating the enduring friendship, goodwill, and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The event served as an important platform to highlight shared values, cultural heritage, and historic relationships.

Senior Government Officials, officials from the Embassy of Pakistan, OPFA Board members, and prominent members of the Pakistani community attended the celebration. The gathering aimed to promote greater cooperation, understanding, and meaningful engagement at both community and institutional levels.

Sheikh Syed Fayyaz Ali Shah, Founder and President of OPFA, expressed his sincere appreciation to the distinguished guests. He reaffirmed OPFA's commitment to further strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two "brotherly countries." Shah also extended profound appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq for his visionary leadership in fostering friendship, understanding, and cooperation between Oman and Pakistan.
