OMODA 5 SHS-H: The new hybrid with exemplary consumption

OMODA is launching the OMODA 5 SHS-H, a new hybrid crossover, in the Greek automotive market. This model integrates the advanced Super Hybrid System (SHS), marking a new era for hybrid technology. The OMODA 5 SHS-H is a fully hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) that does not require external charging.

At the heart of the OMODA 5 SHS-H lies its sophisticated SHS. This system combines an efficient 1.5 TGDi turbo gasoline engine with two electric motors powered by a 1.8 kWh high-performance battery. A specially designed DHT hybrid transmission manages power delivery. The powertrain produces a combined output of 165 kW (224 horsepower). The electric motor alone can deliver a peak output of 150 kW (204 horsepower) and 310 Nm of torque, ensuring immediate and linear acceleration.

The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 175 km/h, positioning it among the leaders in its class. The DHT hybrid transmission, with a 98.5% transmission efficiency, precisely adjusts power to driving conditions, contributing to low fuel consumption of 5.3 liters per 100 kilometers.

Thanks to the combined efficiency of its engines, hybrid transmission, and battery, the OMODA 5 SHS-H achieves a combined WLTP range of up to 1,000 kilometers, effectively eliminating range anxiety. The OMODA 5 SHS-H is priced around 25,000 euros and comes with a 7-year manufacturer's warranty on the vehicle, an 8-year warranty for the battery and high-voltage components, and 7 years of roadside assistance.
