OpenAI to create 250 jobs in Dublin in new EU HQ

AI company OpenAI is expanding its presence in Ireland, planning to create 250 new jobs in Dublin over the next two years. This expansion is driven by rapidly growing demand from users, customers, and developers across the European region.

OpenAI has leased the Tropical Fruit Warehouse offices in Dublin's Docklands to serve as its new EU headquarters. The 88,000-square-foot space will accommodate a growing workforce, facilitate collaboration, and showcase the company's technology. Currently, OpenAI has over 100 employees in Ireland, and the new roles will span go-to-market, engineering, operations, human resources, finance, privacy, and legal.

The company plans to relocate to the IPUT Real Estate-owned Tropical Fruit Warehouse in late 2026.
