Opposition politician Dinorah Figuera has arrived in Venezuela from Spain to resume dialogue sessions with the ruling party, Chavismo. Sources close to Figuera confirmed her arrival at the General José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport, accompanied by a commission of former lawmakers from the 2015 National Assembly. She is expected in Caracas later Wednesday.

Figuera emphasized that the upcoming agenda will prioritize addressing the aftermath of the June 24 earthquakes, which resulted in over 6,000 deaths, more than 16,700 injuries, and nearly 18,000 people displaced. Discussions will also cover the recomposition of the National Electoral Council (CNE) to ensure credibility, the reinstitutionalization of the Supreme Tribunal of Justice (TSJ), and the guarantee of political and civil rights. Figuera indicated to Televen that this process will take time, with a formal presentation of the work's outcome anticipated by December 2026. She also expressed gratitude to U.S. diplomat Marco Rubio for his support in shaping the agenda.
