Osun 2026: Opposition intimidated by my action plans – Oyebamiji

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate vying for the governorship of Osun State, has asserted that his meticulously crafted action plans have already instilled a sense of intimidation within the opposition camp. Speaking at an engagement with members of the Nigerian Society of Professional Tailors in Osogbo, Oyebamiji expressed confidence that his "PROSPERITY" agenda, unveiled on Friday, is resonating with the electorate and positioning the APC for victory in the August 15 election.

I want to assure you again that I will not betray your trust if you give me your votes. I am contesting to serve you with all my strength, and I will not disappoint you.

Represented at the event by Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, Chairman of Civic Engagement for the APC Campaign Council, Oyebamiji detailed the seven-point agenda. This comprehensive plan prioritizes poverty alleviation, workers' welfare, job creation, transparency, economic growth, security, and education, aiming to reposition Osun State for significant development. Oyebamiji pledged to implement this agenda faithfully, assuring the tailoring association members, whom he commended for their integrity and economic contributions, that their trust would not be misplaced.

My newly unveiled seven-point agenda was carefully crafted for implementation when I am elected, and it will drive the growth of the state. Trust me with your votes, and I will keep my promise.

The APC candidate further stated that the opposition's alleged discomfort stems directly from the unveiling of his robust plans. He characterized their response as a "campaign of calumny," insisting that his agenda has unsettled them. Oyebamiji urged the electorate to focus on his vision for the state's growth and to disregard what he termed the opposition's "heat" and confusion, expressing his trust in God and the people of Osun to bring back an APC administration.
