Osun election: Adeleke’s campaign spokesman threatens N10bn suit against Fadahunsi

Pelumi Olajengbesi, a campaign spokesman for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has threatened a ₦10 billion lawsuit against Senator Francis Fadahunsi, representing the Osun East Senatorial District. Olajengbesi accuses Fadahunsi of defamation and injurious falsehood for statements made during live television interviews.

In a letter from his lawyer, Olajengbesi detailed that Fadahunsi, during interviews on Viable TV and Channels Television, attacked his client's identity and character. Specifically, Fadahunsi allegedly claimed Olajengbesi was not from Ijebu-Jesha, but from Ogun State, and accused him of using thugs associated with the Eiye and Aye cult groups in his political activities.
