Osun election: Governor Adeleke urges INEC to uphold integrity

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has called for the highest standards of integrity from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as results from the governorship election are being collated. Adeleke stressed that the will of the people must be upheld throughout the process.

Against all odds, the people of Osun State have turned out in large numbers and are speaking with one voice.

Speaking via his X handle on Saturday, Adeleke commended the residents of Osun State for their significant turnout and participation in the election, noting that they "are speaking with one voice." He also praised the security agencies deployed for the election, urging them to maintain vigilance as results move from polling units to local government areas.
