Osun election: Governor urges voters to ignore threats, vote en masse

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has called on residents to cast their votes in large numbers during the upcoming governorship election on August 15, urging them to disregard any threats or intimidation.

Speaking at a church service in Osogbo, Adeleke, through a statement by his spokesperson Olawale Rasheed, accused the opposition of instigating violence ahead of the election. He asserted that this strategy stems from the opposition's rejection by the populace and their fear of defeat.

On August 15, Osun people will show agents of violence that we are not cowards. Our people’s safety is guaranteed. Come out and vote. Reject those behind violence by voting against them on August 15.
