Osun Election: Panic in Modakeke as alleged policemen cart away materials

Panic erupted in Modakeke Ward 10, Osun State, on Saturday when individuals, allegedly police officers, seized election materials and dispersed voters and officials, disrupting the ongoing election process.

An eyewitness reported that the polling area had been peaceful before the incident. The witness claimed the suspected officers took the election materials, released what was described as tear gas, and then fled the area. "All the election agents and corps members took to their heels as soon as they arrived," the witness stated, describing the chaos that ensued.
