Osun: Momodu backs Adeleke for second term; APC predicts defeat

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has asserted that its governorship candidate, Biodun Oyebamiji, will defeat Governor Ademola Adeleke in the upcoming Osun State election. However, media entrepreneur and ADC chieftain Dele Momodu voiced strong confidence in Adeleke securing a second term, highlighting the governor's performance.

Speaking on Channels Television, Momodu praised Adeleke's transformation of various parts of the state through infrastructure development and improvements in education and healthcare. He cited specific examples like Ila Orangun, Osogbo, Ile-Ife, Ede, Iwo, and Ilesha, noting refurbished schools and health clinics. Momodu also mentioned the influence of global icon Davido, Adeleke's nephew, and the university scholarships provided by the Adeleke family.

Conversely, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka described Governor Adeleke's performance as "dismal" during an Arise Television program. Morka questioned the state of the health and education sectors, asserting that Adeleke is "utterly defeatable" due to his perceived poor performance. He added that numerous institutions and individuals have endorsed the APC candidate, Ambo, and that the election's verdict would be delivered on Saturday.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has been very dismal in his performance as governor. Is it the health sector that is in shambles? Is it the education sector?
