Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi has definitively stated that President Prabowo Subianto does not intend to reshuffle the current cabinet, despite ongoing performance evaluations of ministers. The confirmation aims to quell speculation about potential changes within the Red and White Cabinet.

Speaking at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta, Hadi explained that the evaluation and oversight of cabinet members are routine processes designed to ensure government programs meet their targets. "As we often say, the evaluation or monitoring process does not always result in a reshuffle," Hadi stated, as quoted by ANTARA news agency.

Hadi elaborated that the president employs specific criteria for assessing ministerial performance, which include coordination, monitoring, and the provision of regular feedback. Beyond performance achievements, the public communication of ministers is also a key aspect of the evaluation. Any instances of inaccurate communication are noted for improvement.

The last significant change to President Prabowo's cabinet took place in late April 2026, marking the fifth reshuffle since he assumed office. This reshuffle saw the appointment of new officials, including Jumhur Hidayat as Minister of the Environment and Dudung Abdurachman as Head of Presidential Staff.
