Paraguay Forecast: Cool Temperatures and Storm Alerts Across Eight Departments

Paraguay is bracing for a day of unsettled weather, with forecasts predicting widespread rain and thunderstorms across much of the nation. The capital city, Asunción, is among the areas expected to experience these conditions, marking a shift from recent warmer days.

The Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a meteorological alert for eight departments: San Pedro, Cordillera, Caaguazú, Caazapá, Itapúa, Misiones, Ñeembucú, and Canindeyú. These areas are at risk of "severe weather phenomena," including moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, particularly during the morning hours.

Following a period of warm temperatures, the weather is turning cooler, with minimum temperatures in Asunción expected to be around 17 degrees Celsius. Other cities will also see cooler conditions, with highs generally ranging between 23 and 35 degrees Celsius depending on the region. The unstable weather pattern is forecast to persist through at least Thursday.

Residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions. The alert highlights the potential for strong winds and heavy rainfall, emphasizing the need for preparedness in the affected departments.
