Paraguay opens registration for National C15 Futsal Championship; Women's tournament also starts

The Paraguayan Futsal Federation has opened registration for the National C15 Championship, a tournament for male players born in 2011. All federations from the Interior region are invited to participate. The final stage of this youth championship is scheduled to take place in Ñemby.

Details regarding the tournament's schedule have been released. Group formation is set for Wednesday, June 24, followed by the programming of the qualifying stage on Friday, June 26. The deadline for submitting team rosters without penalties is also June 26. The qualifying phase is slated to commence on Monday, June 29, and conclude on Wednesday, July 15, depending on the number of teams in each group. The finals are scheduled from Monday, July 20, to Friday, July 24.

In parallel, the National Women's Championship for seniors, dubbed "Bella Vista Sur 2026," is set to kick off this Monday. Eight senior women's teams will compete, divided into two groups. Serie A includes Limpio, Benjamín Aceval, Lambaré, and Santa Rosa del Aguaray. Serie B comprises Bella Vista Sur, Pastoreo, Cerrito, and Horqueta.

The opening day's schedule for the Women's Championship includes matches between Cerrito vs. Horqueta and Lambaré vs. Santa Rosa. Following these games, the inaugural ceremonies will take place before the evening matches: Bella Vista Sur vs. Pastoreo and Limpio vs. Benjamín Aceval.
