Paraguayan riders shine at Brazil's Interlagos motorcycle championship

Paraguayan riders showcased their talent at the prestigious Brazilian Motorcycle Speed Championship held at the iconic Interlagos circuit in São Paulo. The trio from Superbike Paraguay, Pedro Valiente, Fabrizio Almirón, and Hassen David, demonstrated the power of teamwork and consistent effort throughout the event.

From the practice sessions onward, the Paraguayan pilots worked in unison. They shared strategies, provided slipstream assistance, and learned from each other's lines and braking points. This collaborative approach led to significant improvements in their lap times on the demanding Paulista circuit, allowing them to compete effectively in both the Moto1000GP and Yamaha bLU cRU series.

Pedro Valiente delivered a standout performance in the Yamaha bLU cRU R3 category. Starting tenth in the first race, he climbed to fifth place. In the final race, he battled within the top six, even leading for periods before a minor error relegated him to sixth. Valiente also competed in the Moto1000GP GP600 class, finishing a strong fourth after starting fifth.

Fabrizio Almirón also had a successful weekend, achieving his best qualifying position to date (ninth) and finishing eleventh in both races. His consistent performance placed him within the overall Top 10 for the weekend. Hassen David, in his debut year on the international circuit, showed continuous improvement, consistently lowering his personal best lap times and gaining valuable experience.

The collective effort of Valiente, Almirón, and David at Interlagos underscored their dedication and the effectiveness of their team's strategy, marking a positive outing for Paraguayan motorsport.
