Park Ju-ho Inaugurated as 10th President of Daelim University

Park Ju-ho, formerly a professor in the Department of Education at Hanyang University, was inaugurated as the 10th president of Daelim University on July 15.

During his inauguration ceremony at Daelim University in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, the new president highlighted the university's significant contributions to South Korea's industrial development. Since its founding in 1977, Daelim University has produced more than 100,000 specialized technicians. Park noted that the university's graduate employment rate reached 80% last year, placing it among the highest in the nation.

President Park expressed his commitment to leveraging his experience and knowledge for the university's advancement. He outlined his vision for Daelim University, emphasizing a focus on student success as the top priority. He also aims to lead in industry-academia cooperation that leads to employment and to foster mutual growth with the local community.

Park Ju-ho's career includes a tenure in the Ministry of Education, where he was involved in industry-academia cooperation and higher education policy after passing the administrative exam in 1991. He later earned a doctorate in Industrial Education from the University of Georgia in the United States before joining Hanyang University as a professor.
