Pastor launches Christian matchmaking platform with N700,000 VIP plan

Relationship coach and pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has launched Mentor To Marry, a new Christian matchmaking platform designed to help serious singles find marriage partners. The platform offers various membership plans, with annual costs ranging from N70,000 to N700,000 for VIP access.

Okonkwo, the lead pastor of David’s Christian Centre, announced the platform on X, stating it aims to facilitate intentional, faith-based marriages. He expressed concern over the increasing commercialization of relationships, which he believes makes it difficult for young men to find genuine love. "When we were young, all you had to get was a girls phone number but now all they want to send is their account number, now you are expected to pay rent, school fees and transport before you are taken seriously," he wrote.

I feel for the men of this generation….relationships have been so commercialized nowadays that its almost impossible for a young man to find true love.

The platform emphasizes mentoring before matchmaking. Members undergo an initial eight-week preparation phase, including classes, assessments, and guided reflection, before being eligible for matching services. This approach aims to help singles develop clarity, maturity, and accountability before pursuing marriage.

Membership is divided into three tiers: Regular (N70,000 annually), Premium (N350,000 annually), and VIP (N700,000 annually). The Regular plan includes mentoring, limited profile access, and five weekly chats. The Premium plan offers unlimited browsing, monthly recommendations, and 10 weekly chats. The VIP package includes all Premium features plus a dedicated matchmaker and coach, and priority access to the platform's founders.

Okonkwo clarified that the platform does not suggest all women are motivated by financial gain. "I can assure you that not all women are in relationship for business, there are a lot of good women looking to connect with serious godly men on our platform," he stated.
